I have a love/hate with AMA. It CAN be a super fun way to engage if you’re asked interesting, answerable questions, but it can also be pretty boring or not at all insightful if you’re asked the same things over and over or asked questions that don’t really encourage any sort of elaboration or interesting answers. AMA, to me, is essentially an audience’s chance to conduct their own kind of interview and we all know that interviewees who give canned, non-answer responses are annoying as hell, so I try to never do that.
Last week, I invited my paying subscribers to ask me whatever and got a handful of legitimate queries to respond to. Today’s questions cover how I learned to cook, helping friends navigate divorce, how to nudge those with Peter Pan syndrome in a different direction, a lot on motherhood (obviously), and even Zac’s politics (‘cause someone asked!).
