A new monthly letter straight from the source of my shopping problem — Ellen.

My mother, Ellen, passed down a lot of traits to me. Namely anxiety, neuroses, creativity, and the ability to jump to the worst conclusion at the speed of light. But probably the most standout trait is my love of shopping (and, more importantly, returning). Ellen always has her finger on the pulse of consumerism; in fact, most of the time, she’s the one sending me links to things that intrigue her. Because she’s so in-the-know and, because any time I share her with the world people seem to love it, I pitched her the idea of having a monthly guest letter all to herself. A way to speak to the masses (that’s you), if you will. Obviously, she was on board so here we are!

Got It From My Mama (GIFMM) will feature product spotlights written entirely by Ellen. I’m excited to see what she does with this space, and even more excited for you, dear reader, to experience it. Shall we?
