Reno(vation) 911! + The Pregnancy Diaries
A double whammy for the price of one!
Getting to spend the weekend in Tulsa with one of my best friends was great not only because I got so much 1:1 time with her and her precious 6.5 month old baby girl, but because I got to escape our current setup for a few nights and live in a full-sized house again.
I’m back in hell in our studio apartment, and wouldn’t you know that it (“it” being the apartment) welcomed my return with our annual summer A/C debacle (i.e. it’s so hot and our A/C is working so hard that it’s not getting nearly as cold in our house as usual). We think our struggling A/C is also due in part to the environment shift in the house what with all the workers, the outside doors being walked in and out of 100 times a day, some of our breakers being shut off, etc. We also just had the HVAC company out to ensure everything’s in working order. So Zac busted out our trusty portable A/C unit we bought three summers ago that has literally saved us every summer since, and the temperature difference between our room and our bathroom is insanity.
So at least there’s that.
Now, let’s get into renovation AND pregnancy updates!
