I love shopping, but I love returning even more. Submitting a request for return, printing out the label, attaching it to the box, taping the box up, and ultimately dropping that box off at UPS/USPS, Whole Foods, or FedEx gives me a rush I can’t get anywhere else. It’s free money, after all.
Each month, I keep track of everything I bought and returned so I can share my fails with paying subscribers because it’s great when things work out, but it’s more interesting to talk about what didn’t work and why.
Welcome to Things I Bought and Returned (TIBAR).
TIBAR 1: Raycon Earbuds
Some of you may remember that I put out a query on my Instagram several weeks ago asking for earbud recommendations that weren’t AirPods. One of my AirPods just stopped working and no matter how many times I reset them, it wouldn’t give. So I got frustrated, decided AirPods suck, and wanted to try something new. Well, let me tell you — the Raycon Everyday Earbuds suck more.
