Somewhere between emptying you into the toilet, rinsing you, and having to clean up the murder scene (including my hand), I realized this was all too much. That I didn’t love you, per se but the idea of you...
This newsletter really made my day and was so unbelievably relatable as my bathroom looked like a crime scene every month during what I call “my diva cup phase”
Love a decent period underwear. My periods got unruly after childbirth and they saved me. Less cramping too, which was surprisingly nice. The tampons really are the OG though. Sorry, planet.
TBF.. on your heaviest days you deff feel it. For me it wasn't like woah, I'm gushing but it takes a minute to get used to the feeling. I never feel like I'm in a diaper though. Every time I thought I was surely going to leak through, I'd check and they were completely dry.
No concept of this contraption because I am older and don’t have to mess with that shit anymore but I just wanted to say you are witty and make me laugh 😂 😊
Bahaha I love this. As someone currently having their first period postpartum (at exactly one month after giving birth) I can’t imagine trying to use that thing. I love the idea, cannot execute.
I have similar feelings about the Diva Cup and/or menstrual discs. I tried to love them, but really, it was just the idea of them. My go-to right now is the Bambody menstrual underwear, especially for bedtime or heavier days, where tampons just won't do. They have been a game changer for my monthly cycle -- they're very comfortable, and I don't feel icky when I wear them, plus they're easy to maintain once you find a good routine. Tip: The high-waisted ones also provide slight compression on extra bloated days.
Your cup runneth over...with YOU KNOW WHAT. Not in a million years would I ever try that device. Sometimes it's nice to be in the 65+ age group, not having to deal with choices like this!

It’s like you’re reading my mind yet again. I was so proud of myself and excited. But. After a few months, I just can’t do it. Sorry environment.
