I do like the Stanley cup. A friend of mine has several and she gifted me one that I told her I loved. Would I have bought one for myself eventually? Maybe. I will say I have seen other cups keep ice "icey" longer, but with a plastic lid, it's what I'd expect. Also, I hate before and afters if they aren't immediately together. Ain't nobody got time for waiting on that jazz.
I mean… I really fought the Stanley trend. Hard. I laughed about it, rolled my eyes, said “I have plenty of water containers, why would I need yet ANOTHER one”. My best friend got it and was like “no, hear me out…”. And I caved. I must say, I get the hype. I don’t know why; perhaps it’s the straw, the size, the handle, or the steel that keeps my water a constant temp. Something about it keeps me drinking more water. And if it’s magic? I buy it, because anything that keeps me drinking more water has to be.

Nalgene water bottle user forever, was gifted a couple of Stanley’s for my birthday. Husband immediately stole one and I can’t get it back. I’d say it’s worth it for the fact that it fits in a cup holder alone. Not great for travel or throwing in a bag. Amazing for the long days at a desk (40oz) or car rides!
We are longtime Yeti lovers, but my sister bought a Stanley maybe 6 months ago (REI i believe). Yeti still reigns supreme on insulation and durability she said and now they’ve fixed their threading design issue on the cup w/ handle. She said not worth the hype and to stick with Yeti. https://www.yeti.com/drinkware/straw-drinkware/21071501804.html

I witnessed a girl I follow delay her before and afters by A FULL ASS DAY.
I already lost interest, ma'am. No thanks.🤣🤷♀️
I have mixed feelings on the Stanley cup trend::
Pros: I drink lots of water with it, fits in the handlebars of my Peloton and I like the color
Cons: It's HEAVY (and I feel like my toddler or I am constantly knocking it over), ice melts faster than my Yetis or Hyrdroflask, and ITS HEAVY.
Moral of the story - great emotional support, car and workout cup, but if you have a water bottle you already love, stick with it.

I ordered it over the weekend in Chicago and have no regrets.
