Cana’s Feast, excellent wine and charcuterie, 20 min from Dundee, feels like Italian Villa,

Left Coast Estate, 30 away, but you can picnic with their excellent pizza

Closer:

Remy Wines, LGTBQ owned and excellent

Durant, wine meh but olive oil tasting cool!!

Stoller, good wine haven’t been to location there

Alexana, my mom wanted me to get married there so it’s beautiful but was out of price range haha

My brother lives in Portland OR. If you’re stopping in Portland, the rose garden/ Japanese gardens/ arboretum area is beautiful. Pearl street is fun for shopping and salt and straw ice cream. The area east of downtown, Burnside, is peak Portland vibes to me with lots of fun restaurants, food trucks etc. We stay in Portland for a few days, then go to Willamette. We’ve stopped in Red Hills Market multiple times, great for lunch. I like Brooks winery- my favorite of the Pinots we’ve had in the area (out of many) and a gorgeous setting. From there we go to Depoe Bay on the coast and stay in a rental and watch the whales. It’s a very relaxing trip that we’ve repeated multiple times.

I second whale watching in Depoe Bay. We've lived here for many years and the whales are just now returning from Baja. We always recommend Whale Research EcoExcursions to our family and friends as they use Zodiacs, which provide a much nicer experience than the bigger boats. If you're in town, Tidal Raves is a great spot for lunch or dinner.

The Horn is pretty decent, but nothing fancy. Burgers, fish & chips, etc. It does have a great view of the harbor and ocean, though. Side Door in Gleneden Beach (just north of Salishan) is very good. Pioneer Joe's coffee in the Salishan market place is good for coffee & breakfast treats. Beck at Whale Cove Inn is probably the most high end dining spot in Depoe Bay. Haven't been there personally, but friends love it for the view. Tidal Raves is just as lovely, though.

I miss standard service 😭 Also we did an Oregon wine trip last summer and I have a (maybe too) thorough google doc and map of everything we did- if it would actually be helpful and not annoying to send, happy to do so!
